Hi everyone. I am blogging this on Mabel's behalf. Her message to you: "The great firewall of china strikes again. Till then everyone."

I am honoured that she has asked me to guest blog here (feel like a star). Anyway, if you are wondering who I am, here's a little bit about me. Look under Links on this page and you can see that my blog is featured there under Ivy.

The blog chronicles my tortuous 3 months in Mumbai and my current life in their (shan't be too specific about who I mean) claws. My goal in life right now is to get away from the claws as soon as possible so if anyone has any lobang for me, please let me know.

Well, I've known Mabel for more than 15 years now. People who knows her would agree that she's a really crazy girl.

I would like to write more but I'm rushing some work so if I have the chance, I'll come back again and write more. In the meantime, do remember to visit this blog and mine! :p

Losing it.

In hope of losing some excess *ahem* weight, I got down on all fours and cleaned the entire floor with a piece of cloth. Yes, a cloth not a mop!

Another (unlucky) brave soul will be making the trip instead as my boss will be in town then and I'm needed for all meetings. I sit in, nod, smile, look pretty while trying to stifle all yawns (for reasons of etiquette) and periodically throw in a few "ah huh". Easy peasy.

Darn! Just as I was looking forward to the beer guzzling and bonding session with the Chinese officials. *shrugs*

well well, SO LONG, YEN TAI!!!

I need a map of China..

While counting down to 1700hrs, he broke the news to me.

Yours truly will have to make a trip to Yen Tai next week......

WHAT THE?!!!! Where on earth or China is Yen Tai!?! What kind of ulu mama country is that?! Why can't it be Shanghai, Guangzhou or Hong Kong? YEN TAI??? I need to do some serious research.

Sigh.. Look on the bright side, he promised to fly me there instead of a 10 - 20 hours train ride. My bum hurts at the thought of it...

Did I fail to mention my promising travel companions? A whole bunch of chain-smoking, pot bellied Chinese officials.

I hope we can stop by Qingdao, I'll guzzle enough beer to stay drunk throughout the whole trip.
